Meet John and Erin.
I met John at Manor Country Club. I was ecstatic when I learned that John had planned a very special marriage proposal to Erin on Valentine’s Day. When Erin emailed me to talk about their wedding I was thrilled that she wanted to hire me to capture it. I’m excited about their wedding day!
During their engagement session, John and Erin’s love was so very evident. It made photographing them effortless. John and Erin share a romantic love. The way they look at one another, the tenderness, the innocence, and the raw emotion between these two is so genuine. One, of many things, I love about John and Erin is how they incorporate such sentimental things into their relationship. John proposed with his Grandmothers (father’s Mother’s) ring. How special is that?! I can only imagine how beautiful she is going to look on her wedding day. The love that she and John share really puts a glow around them.
The venue, which we also did engagement photos at, is in the neighborhood where Erin grew up. She has spent years running through the paths that outline the venue, spent evening walks with her father, and even walked with John on these paths. It’s an adorable venue with beautiful views. At the Hendry House, there is a small white building, which is next to the main house. It has ivy growing up it, which I think is stunning! We utilized this for photos and did close ups of the ring against the ivy backdrop. Seriously so pretty! I love that we will be able to recreate these photos again next year at John and Erin’s wedding.
John and Erin love to dance together. So, they danced during the photo session! Seriously, what a great idea John had! It made for absolutely gorgeous images. I love, love, love using special moments that the couple share during their engagement session.
